Before this project I was told continuously, how stressful this was going to be, and me being me didn’t think much of it, until I had to do it… Six pack is a project where you have to do the following

• Buy an outdated 6 pack beer design
• Take it apart and Measure in Inches (I did two blueprints one in Inches and Cm because I couldn’t understand Inches)
• Then put those measurements into illustrator and print the measurements out
• Cut, trim, fold and perf your Blueprint.
• Assemble your 6 Pack

Long and boring and frustrating and stupid and long process.

For this, I begged my 18 year old roommate to get a lift to a off-license (Actual Humiliation) and I looked around for a beer I felt could use a rebrand, I decided to go for Shiner Bock. A German & Czech beer brewed in Texas. Kind of like me an Irish man studying at a Colorado School.

Take it apart and Measure in Inches

This was ridiculous like. I had to measure it, It took me around 3 Hours to do my first time, and then when I measured it again in Cm, It took like 2 Hours. I’d say this part was just long, and boring, and could mess you up if you rushed it.

Then put those measurements into illustrator and print the measurements out

I had to do this step 4 times, the first three in inches and then the last in Cm (which I’m yet to do) but essentially you have to cut the black lines, trim the dashed black, fold the green dash and perf with the light blue

Sadly I don’t have photos of my first construct, But my lecturer, grabbed it, and destroyed it.
