This week, we had a demo on spray-painting, It was my first time using a can, and sadly I’m not good at it immediately, so I feel I will need more practice, I wonder if I could go to the locker downstairs and grab a few cans and practice on the wooden doors in the east wall, that would be helpful, so I may ask Eli if I could do that.

The actual demonstration was how to spray, so with a medium lid, you bring your can closer to the wall and then spray on, spray off. thinking of it like drawing a line with your brush on photoshop using the trackpad, Like this video, I just made

You pretty much want to put the can on the wall, when your spraying, when using the fat cap, you want to stand backwards a little bit, that also reminded me that you should move with your body, not your arm.

To do a fade in you should hit the wall at an angle and a bit back, imagine your an old man doing the limbo, it would be leaning back 45 degrees, and spraying the can. This is something I feel I’d need more practice on. Below I will show the photos I took during this

I remember Eli said this was important, He told us to set up a doodle-grid first before spraying, then plan it out, and then colour it in.
