This week we focused on the project Bite and Display
I presented my Bite project this week and the feedback I got was to change the colours, as previously it was a rising sun design, but I was told to change them as they were hard to see the characters, I’ll show the new draft, we then ordered spray paint for our designs
It is surreal that I will get to spray paint this come October, I’m a little bit nervous as I’ve never done it, but with time, effort and hard work. I’m, sure I could do something, I’d even be interested in using the VR headset to spray this. I feel like to better prepare, I should watch some videos on how to spray paint type.
For display we had to come up with a display typeface that could be variable, and I pitched three designs, a futuristic display, a Hawaiian display and a Art Deco display, we presented to the class and a majority loved the Art Deco pictured here:
We then had to create a 3 syllable word using our voted upon display, we had to do an uppercase and a lowercase version, This was probably one of the harder things I’ve had to do recently, but I’m happy with the end result.
