This week we focused on an exercise in which we had to come up with 10 questions to ask for a recipe app concept, it was for research and I had to come up with them with a group and then we shared with the class. After that we refined them and I had to ask these

  1. Walk me through how you normally decide what you're going to cook.
  2. Tell me about the last time you searched for a recipe. What did you do?
  3. What usually makes you choose one recipe over another?
  4. Describe your strengths and weaknesses when cooking
  5. How much time everyday do you spend preparing food?
  6. Describe the food, flavors, or textures, that you prefer not to eat
  7. How does cost of grocery shopping affect your meal choices?
  8. Tell me about the appliances, and kitchen space you normally have available.
  9. Tell me about either dietary restrictions or dietary preferences?
  10. When you're following a recipe, do you follow it exactly?
  11. How many people do you typically cook for?

I interviewed three anonymous people. A nursing student, a legal advisor and a mother of four. It was nice to hear their thoughts and get a unique perspective for our research. And it was a bit of a step outside my comfort zone. Overall this week I’ve got all I need to do, done it right and I’ve set myself up well for next week.
