This is my first week of classes done and I have a feeling advanced typography will kick my ass. I was given 4 assignments to do for it which are:

• Commit to an idea of 30 items for a catalog
• Present my resume in 3 formats .txt .doc and .indesign
• 3 Mousepad designs with 5 slides
• BITE Project - I have to sketch the word LUCKY in ESOW’s graffiti style

While fun and interesting these will be challenging so it is important that I “lock in”

30 Items Ideation

Here in this bit I wrote down some ideas that I could do for a catalogue (catalog feels too stupid)

• 30 different local candy bars, chip bags, or drinks. It makes for a fun, colorful, pop-art style catalog.
• Photograph the signs of 30 local businesses
• Stickers
• Postcards
• Pasta Shapes
• Cheap Art Supplies (Clips)
• Campbell Soup

Final Choice

I’ve decided to create a sweets catalog, which will feature packaging from UK sweets and US sweets as they’re bright, unique and have a lot of stories behind them all. Like for example the first flake was made by using leftover chocolate scraps in the Cadbury factory. They’d also be ideal to photograph.
