WCAG - Web Accessibility Standards

The first resource I want to show is WCAG, or web accessibility standards. So just type in Google "web accessibility standards", and it should be the first link you see. Go to the latest one, and then you'll get to the guidelines.

I'm not saying to read all through it. I'm saying maybe Cmnd C, Cmnd V, into Gemini and summarise the important bits! It would vastly improve the look of your website by following these guidelines as they allow for more people to engage with and understand your work.

Colorable

Pairs well with WCAG, You would use this tool to see if your text is legible with the background colour and font colour, You want it to be triple A Level, you can get away with AA when the text is huge, but never use a fail

Spline

Spline is a 3D tool you could use to embed 3D objects into your website, You could use it with HTML and CSS but I also saw a way you could put one in with framer, I have a link which I’ll share later, or you could look it up

https://docs.spline.design/integrations/integrating-with-framer

Spline would allow for most of your ideas with 3D objects on your Portfolio, whether you wanted a 3D cursor, or a 3D model which changes position when you scroll down, Spline would let you do that a lot easier, If you wanted to use 3D models in your project, I’d recommend using spline.

Shadertoy

ShaderToy is a code based open use computer graphics service where people upload code of fun backgrounds which can be edited, (Disclaimer this is all A.I, I’m not fully aware of all of framers features) You can use ThreeJS and WebGL by writing or pasting Shadertoy code into a custom Framer components. You can also find free community-made Shadertoy components directly on the Framer Marketplace to copy and paste shader code.

Now a lot of people will maybe see code and think, that looks impossible, I assure you, there is a better way. You could take the code and ask an A.I to translate it to a different Language to save you time and effort.

UX Audit

A UX audit is whenever a UX Designer looks through a companies website and writes down each issue with it using a Heuristic Value scale to measure it’s severity. I think it is a good idea to look through each page of your site and with A.I ask it to do a UX Audit of each page, so you can improve your websites. You could of course do it yourself, but it is much faster to use A.I
