As a part of the project we are to create a style guide which contains the following sections: typography, colour scheme, style and icons, so I made a document on Figma for it, I want to make just one large page for it that contains all of these, as I already have created a document version for my music app and I want to try something new. That being said I first need to:
So here is my overall idea of how I want things to be laid out, I want the neu-brutalist style to be translated over and keep it’s tone. I want it to have 4 corners and have each of them go over a certain topic, so one corner will be typography, one will be colour scheme etc.
While working on it I just think it makes no sense really so I’m just going to experiment and make a Zine Style Guide
A zine is a self-published booklet, typically created by individuals or small groups, often using photocopiers or home printers. It's a form of DIY publishing that can encompass a wide range of content, from text and images to found objects and collages. Zines are known for their small print runs and often unconventional or niche subject matte
Essentially a booklet with an emphasis on photos and minimal text. so that is what I aim to do.
Below I will share the new sketches for each page of the Zine
This is the idea for the front cover, just the text and maybe the clown illustration on the top right
For the Icons I have an idea to lay it out like a tattoo flash sheet, I’m going to put the icons heading vertically for layout purposes
For typography I don’t have much ideas for it, im thinking just to lay it normally but add a coloured background to each font.
For the buttons I want to include all variants of the component and include a melting effect to the title like I did to the buttons.
For the colours I want there to be coloured boxes with the colour and the hex code to be layed out vertically.
