I had an idea to for my storyboard, to do an advertisement/product showcase similar to how apple do it, But before I go crazy, I should read the brief and remind myself what is reminded of the storyboard
So that means I can do an animation for my storyboard/visual narrative, I was thinking of using fat stick men to represent the target audience using the device, whilst using text to describe what is happening in an innovative way, But it is important to show how the apps I’ve created supports the users job, lifestyle and enjoyment.
For my research, I looked at existing tech advertisements and wrote down some things I found interesting

This short but sweet advert for the MacBook Neo does three things
I’d say personally I would like to see the Maxs of the Neo. I want to see it do something it is capable of which would be crazy for the price tag, Like run a game or something Idk. That would hook the product for me, But I still think the advert is memorable, and the song is annoyingly catchy so it stays in my head

I think what this Advert does well is exaggerate, But It does show some of the specifications of the product which is cool. Actually seeing what Chip they use I think will always be a cool thing adverts do. But the main thing from this advert is actually showing people using the product, which is a huge selling point as it makes the product catered for everyone. I would need actors to do this and it breaks the brief as it wants either an animation or illustration, which gave me the idea of taking inspiration from the iPod shuffle advert which used silhouettes of people dancing to the music, which wouldn’t be possible if the iPod shuffle wasn’t portable and sleek.
