In this page, I will have a script of what I’m going to say, It probably won’t be followed to tee, but is rather here to get my thoughts organised
So hello and thank you for taking the time to come and listen to my pitch. I hope you enjoy and there will be time for questions towards the end so when I was coming up with the idea for this pitch I saw a personal deep reflection of my career as a designer and I thought of issues that I'd faced before unheard other designers face as well and it made me look into the statistics of design work more specifically freelancing
So with my search I find that one and free freelancer struggled to find work 82% of designers field burnout in their first year and roughly 43% of freelancers spend around five hours on unproductive tasks such as admin paperwork chasing clients etc
So the problems I find with that were that precious time was being wasted there is burn eye among designers and there is a inconsistent workflow
I also looked into the financial aspect of the freelancing sector and finds that it generated at $5.4 trillion in 2021 and there is a projection of that to reach 25 trillion roughly by 2032 meaning that this is an industry that is growing rapidly
So what's the opportunity? The freelance market is growing yeah but every year with burnout inability and no real support system there needs to be something done that helps freelancer
and that is where flow comes in. This is flow all agency where every six designers gets a dedicated agent your agent handles the hard stuff which could be clients pricing contract scheduling all of it. well you get to focus on the crafty love we make creativity happen flow that's designers do their best work without everything that gets in the way
but you're probably wondering how does it work and that's a great question so firstly a designer will apply for and then join flow and then an agent will then learn their strengths their styles and their goals and so the client will come to flow with projects that they need done and the agent will fill our scope and negotiate and handle all of the admin that comes from those jobs so that means the designer can focus on design while flow handles the rest.
but what can flow do for you? Well Flow give you less work protect your schedule preventing burnout and gives you better client work as well
