Alright, It has been a while but I really wanted to design this product on Blender, This will be used in Mock-ups and storyboards for my project. I will use the sketches and references to create the product.

Initial Build

I spoke to Kyle about the idea, and he suggested modelling it after the Google Nest camera, So I took his Idea to mind with my sketches and Now I will do something similar in Blender.

I thought it would be a smart idea to combine the motion sensor box with the actual camera, which would theoretically allow for components to fit like Ram, GPU, CPU etc. I like the design, But there is still much work to do, Buttons will need to be considered, materials, colour etc.

I added two buttons and two USB holes.

Added more of a lens vibe to the front of the camera and then enlarged it.

I also added a little slot for aux, for speakers and such

I then smoothed the Camera cylinder. And can I say I’ve been watching tutorials as I go and I feel I’ve learned a lot from them and actually working on this product.

I also changed the button to be one wide one, which I think will serve better design wise
