For the presentation I wanted to create a template to use later when our group focuses on making the resource pack, For this I did a plan of action and create a layout plan with the brochure design in mind.

Presentation Content

For the plan I wanted to build up the idea, explain it, have a chance to showcase what is in it, and the proposed benefits. Other stuff I could include is budget, future journey map. But below is an idea of contents of stuff in the presentation:

I did this on Keynote, as I’ve found it to be the most reliable when doing presentations

I started with a nice simple cover slide

I then went on to the problem statement, I wanted say what the problem is and how we found that problem, I used a smart animate feature for the text, so that it would be cohesive while presented and flow smoothly

So I met up with the group during the creation of this presentation. And we settled on who is doing well and I actually forgot to screenshot my progress so I will include the slide list as of right now but there's still further refinements that I should be doing but here is the current slides I decided to use the colours of each person for example since my colour in the Miro was cyan. I use blue for my slides. This was done so when we were ending, we'd know he was supposed to be speaking and to avoid confusion.

After the initial slides were done, I refined them by reading them out and checking for any issues with spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Presentation Thoughts

I’ve just given the presentation so my thoughts are very fresh, I think we did well, better than some groups we spoke loudly and got our idea across and it seemed like the panelist liked it, What stood out for me was Chloe’s disagreement with the needle pack, and I myself know that is very controversial, I did provide a decent non aggressive defence of “this person told us to put it in as it is critical for their survival” But I couldn’t help feel some guilt about it. I think it is because I agree, I don’t think it should be in the pack, I think I should’ve made a brochure on how to administer drugs safely or show places where they could do that.

Aside from that, They loved the idea, I had good answers to questions I felt, and even showed passion by adding onto their thoughts. I’m relieved it is over. But I think I can improve on reading and speaking to the panel, I was staring at my phone more than I should’ve but that was because I did not have the time or brain capacity to memorise all I had to say, I ended up winging some parts which just did not work, so next pitch, presentation, whatever I will learn my topics and know what to talk about.
