Daniel was telling us a story about how he made his own packaging and someone from a design agency remembered it and it got him a Job, It just goes to show how someone as simple like a letter can go a long way, So I feel compelled to make my own, So this page will show my ideas, development and creation

Ideation

So without looking at examples, I had ideas in my head for packaging listed below and what that would entail

• Tube - An A4 Tube with a custom pattern on the cardboard or sticker of a custom design
• Box - A custom designed box with a CV attached and perhaps some cool “swag” or food
• Shoebox - same as above but a painted shoebox - sustainable and crafty. would be nice if done right
• A4 Letter - Custom sticker closing the seal/ or possible lino-print
• Lino-printing - could be used for all of it to be honest! I haven’t done it since the met but could be fun and can be used for multiple packages

I then looked up some ideas for the packaging online and here is what I found

Paula Perez-Pousa had this idea of creating a carton that contained their CV, Interesting, a bit bold, but I suppose I’m just thinking what do the employers do with it? they drink it and throw it out of course. Meaning it the CV part isn’t memorable but the packaging is

I saw this on social media and it went viral, Basically a guy faked being a delivery driver and delivered food with his cv attached, which is smart, although If i were to do it, I’d make a custom box, I’d worry about the awkwardness at reception, handing a package that no-one ordered especially in Northern Ireland probably wouldn’t go to well…

A chocolate bar, showing some brief statistics of yourself, could be a nice bonus and wouldn't be too hard to do. just buy a galaxy bar, take the paper off and put your own on it!
