Now on to the design, I have a rough idea of what I want to create, so I will spend this page talking about what I’m thinking, how I made it, and some drafts!

Thoughts

So in the previous page I was looking at the Balatro background and I was fascinated with that, Then i was talking to others about how I want the A.I to feel alive and I just was thinking, and thinking, and thinking… then I thought thinking itself, what happens when we think? we’re using our brain, and what is the brain? a simple definition is that well it tells your body what to do. But I was thinking about emotions, why do we feel certain ways? Well, the answer to that Neurochemicals, also known as neurotransmitters, which are the chemical messengers that transmit signals between brain cells (neurons) to control thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Just the idea of chemicals interests me, above is a chemical spill, just look how fascinating that is, I feel you could create something cool with that in mind

Brain Chemicals

The chemicals of the brain are

• Dopamine: A reward chemical that motivates you to seek out pleasure and accomplish tasks.
• Oxytocin: Often called the "love hormone," it fosters feelings of trust, social bonding, and attachment.
• Serotonin: Linked to feelings of pride, social status, and overall mood stability, helping to regulate emotions.
• Endorphins: The body's natural painkillers, they are released during intense exercise or pain to create a feeling of euphoria or "runner's high"
• Glutamate: The primary excitatory neurotransmitter in the brain, essential for learning, memory, and cognitive processes
• GABA: An inhibitory neurotransmitter that calms the brain and plays a role in reducing anxiety.
• Acetylcholine: Crucial for processes like learning, memory, and muscle contractions.
• Norepinephrine: Controls the body's stress response and plays a role in focus and attention.

I had an idea of maybe using these chemicals and finding the relevant colour to them and maybe working them in to my design

Dopamine - Yellow and Orange - Represents Happiness and Creativity

Oxytocin - Red and Pink - Represents Love

Serotonin - Yellow - Joy

Endorphins - Blue and Green - Calming
