I wanted to look at some styles that I would think would work well with Belfast’s diverse and vibrant Identity and a Tram System
Swiss design is an obvious thought and for good reason as it’s clear and understandable, full of colour and easy to organise. I don’t necessarily have any issues with it, I’d worried about how overused it has been for transit maps, so it would be interesting to see if there was a way to enhance it or make it unique to Belfast.
Declan’s dashboard project used this brutalist style which I admit looks pretty good, So I’m thinking that we could maybe do something in the style but in a transit context, I’m thinking something like the map on the right and I would be interested to see what a brutalist user interface would look like when a user is buying a ticket or looking up schedule times. Just think of the uber user interface
