Critique for my Street of Crocodiles

Feedback from Classmates

What they Liked:

They liked the aesthetics of the website, stating how they liked the inspiration and the use of colour stating how well they worked together and how consistent it was, they also stated how the distorted images fit the aesthetic. There was clear typographic and heading structure.

What I can work on:

Change the “read an extract” part to be bigger and lower down.

Consider some work on responsive layout as the main title text covers the entire image on a smaller screen size

Feedback from Marlow

Positives:

You have a very good theme going on, the distortion on the images helps with the surrealist vibe, the colours work well

What to work on:

More Padding needed between the sections, Improve the aesthetic of the headers - i.e give them italics or underline them, The bottom section needs to be formatted properly with CSS having another divider there to separate it from the content of the story may help

Feedback from David

Likes the font, reminds him of the polish heritage and aesthetic
