So this is a page dedicated to hearing feedback and implementing them as I want this portfolio to be the best it can, not a one off so I can get marks and such. That being said here are some critiques and patches!
I showed Kyle my portfolio and he said it was very nice but he noticed something was missing. A call to action button! Something I had not considered at all which I really should’ve. So I took a day or two and thought about this button. What should it be, should it really be a rectangle? Or should it be something more?
That’s when I thought of the idea of having a folder as a button, that would take you to my portfolio. I feel that with a hiring agency the main thing that matters to them is my work. If they want to get in touch or learn about me. Then use the navigation to find that out. I feel like a folder is a great representation of design work, as digital designers we store our work in folders, I’m going to make it more me though, I’ll sketch it out and then develop it, but initially I was thinking of making it white to match the colour palette.
I just made a vector graphic on Figma and exported it as a png, and inserted the image into the code, then hyperlinked it to my portfolio. I think it fits well
Text is too small, and it needs to be bigger, so I changed it.
Was testing what showed up if you typed my name or online alias. And this came up
I want an icon and the blurb to be different, so I hopped back into the code to try and fix it.
I added to the code a description but the icon isn’t loading yet, I don’t know why to be honest it should be working, they said it was a time thing so we’ll see.
After some time it miraculously worked
