I decided to create motion graphics for my brand just so it can seem more authentic, they are based on existing assets I created for the project, Anything motion graphic related will be covered below:
I decided to make a motion graphic for this advert. I don’t have any ideas for what to do so I’m going to put the assets in and then show a sketch with an idea.
So after some consideration I like this idea, I want the text to type in or appear letter by letter. then after the sentence is finished the LEVEL >>> appears and becomes huge. then the of banking appears one second after each other.
Then I moved on to developing the motion graphic, step by step. I did create what I had sketched but I decided to experiment and have some fun with it. Here is the end result
I felt I didn’t need to sketch for this as the idea itself is self-explanatory, but I wanted the circle to match how much you spent and by using motion graphics it would help exaggerate the idea. I also had plans to make the text appear
so after adding the assets and creating the lines, I tried rounding the edges as an experiment but it just looked rough and I felt it didn’t work so I opted for a flat edge, I should also note I had to follow a tutorial for this, essentially to create this you have to split the path and then manually choose from 0 to 100 where you want your line to appear, so I did that made the keyframes and added an easy ease to make it smoother.
I then added some effects to the text so it would appear fast, like as soon as the bar showed up. I just thought it would be a nice touch, Below is the final outcome. I’m happy with it, it is exactly as I envisioned and it looks good, I will note the quality is a little rough here on notion but that is due to the size being intended for a smaller screen
